About The Area We Cover

Local Knowledge

If you’re considering letting property in Crewe or the surrounding area, talk to us to gain local insight which can help you make more informed decisions about where to live if you’re a tenant, or where to buy if you’re an investor landlord.

While our Crewe office is conveniently based in the town, near to plenty of accessible parking, our team will be happy to give you advice on the surrounding area.  So we’re used to handling lettings in Sandbach, lettings in Congleton and lettings in Alsager, and the many villages in between including Haslington, Weston, Winterley, Brereton and Arclid.

Letting in the Crewe area

Crewe and its surrounding towns of Sandbach, Congleton and Alsager, enjoy excellent road and rail networks -  the M6 and other major motorways as well as the West Coast rail line.  Many people are attracted to the area because they can enjoy living in a rural area, even if their work takes them further afield.

The area is a major employer  – we work closely on relocation packages with many local businesses, including Bentley Motors, VW Group, Rolls Royce Aerospace, Focus Group, Air Products and Network Rail.

Letting in Crewe

Crewe is best known as a centre of the railroad industry. Before 1830 Crewe was simply a hamlet, but when the Grand Junction Railway chose this Cheshire village as the site for its railroad works, Crewe’s population and prosperity bloomed.

The town enjoys a busy high street where there are plenty of shops and cafes.  It has good sport and leisure facilities and is home to Crewe Hall, a magnificent Jacobean mansion, now a luxury hotel and restaurant.

Over recent years Crewe has successfully grown and diversified its economy with, for example, completion of Crewe Business Park developments and growth of the Manchester Metropolitan University Campus.

Letting in Sandbach

Sandbach is an attractive, bustling market town which combines antiquity with modernity.

It contains important historical features as well as many listed buildings, and enjoys a lovely atmosphere with its bars and restaurants, as well as regular market days.

The town is home to the HQ of Cheshire East Council and is a base for the many people working in Manchester, Merseyside and the Potteries.

There is light industry, manufcturing and warehouses at Millbuck Industrial Area.

Letting in Congleton

Congleton is a large market town, situated on the edge of the Peak District and close to the M6 so enjoying good links across the area.   It’s charming character has made it a desirable place to live.

There are good local amenities for shopping and leisure.

Letting in Alsager

Alsager is a small, thriving town with quality independent shops, a weekly market, library and civic centre. Within walking distance is Milton Park, and Alsager mere. The conservation area boasts large villas and mature trees. In the summer of 2007 Alsager was awarded Fairtrade Town status by the Fairtrade Foundation.

There are numerous attractive foot[aths and bridleways: The Trent and Mersey Canal runs just to the north-east to the town. The canal’s towpath and the nearby ‘Salt Line’ are also national routes of the National Cycle Network.
