About the Block Management Team
Tom Slater – Director
Tom joined Temples in July 2010 to develop and manage the new block management venture. Graduating in 2002 with a BA (Hons) in Small Business Enterprise, Tom has spent the last 8 years in property, managing both new build developments and renovation projects, also developing and managing his own property portfolio. Additionally for the past 5 years he has managed blocks of apartments in both Nantwich and Crewe and is looking forward to his diverse skills and experience bringing success to Temples Block Management.
Roy oversees the entire business operations, HR and business development strategy, works closely with our insurance providers and handles group banking and accounting. Roy bought his first investment property in the late 1960s, pursued a career in the banking and retailing sectors before opening Temples Nantwich in 2001, followed by Chester in 2002 and Crewe in 2007. With Temples now in its tenth year of business, Roy is proud to have built up such a successful family business, fully supported by such a loyal, happy and motivated team and enthusiastically looks forward to the challenges ahead.
Steve joined the family business almost eight years ago and thoroughly enjoys working with closely with landlords and tenants to generate long and mutually rewarding business relationships. He is primarily responsible for business development, landlord appointments, overall marketing activities, and supporting the lettings team in their roles. He sees our new branding, website and increased resources in staff and marketing as the key elements for continued growth and staying firmly ahead of our competition.
Jackie is our financial whizz, charged with keeping our accounts in order. She joined us over seven years ago as Property Manager in Nantwich but now oversees our accounts and administration for the Nantwich, Chester & Crewe offices. In her day to day role she manages the Nantwich rent book, landlord payments, client account deposits and payment of contractor invoices. With her broad skills set and experience in our business, Jackie also ensures the smooth coordination of letting and property management activities through daily staff meetings.
