We keep things simple – we guide you through the process of becoming a tenant (especially if this is the first time you’ve rented) so you know what to expect and there are no surprises.
Protect your interests – we make you aware of your obligations to maintain the property which means that when it comes to getting your deposit back, there’s no problem. Where the property is managed by Temples, we’ll conduct intermittent inspections to identify and property defects and help ensure your landlord fulfils maintenance requests within a reasonable timeframe.
Becoming a tenant is a simple process. Once we’ve found the right property for you we:
- ask you to complete an application form and pay a holding deposit
- undertake credit and reference checks
- if we manage the property, we undertake a complete property inventory and schedule of condition
- ensure your deposit is registered with a Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme
- work with you and your landlord to ensure a smooth move in.
